Whitney began her career teaching French at American universities but then focused on raising three children in Hong Kong. For the past several years she has been employed at a local, international school where she brings her nurturing and love of learning back into the classroom. Believing firmly in the value of positive, encouraging and play-based communicative approaches, Whitney values being a part of each child’s journey towards realising their full potential.
At The Hub, twice a week, Whitney assists us with delivering a targeted literacy support with a special focus on Read Write Inc (RWI) and English as an Additional Language (EAL). With years of experience teaching children and teens at different stages of language and literacy development, Whitney is dedicated to helping them build communications skills and confidence. She has also supported students with SEN in classrooms of all phases, further demonstrating her passion to bring accessible learning to all.
